Before Georgia Tech's first home (American) Football game against the University of South Florida, it's tradition to gather with family and friends before the game, where we play games, eat food and hang out. This is gather is called a Tailgate! Meet us at the top of the parking garage behind the Centergy Building! From 10:30am-12:30pm we'll tailgate. Afterwards, we'll walk over to the football stadium and watch the match!

* 3rd Annual RUFI Lake Retreat3rd Annual RUFI Lake Retreat

Join RUF International Buzz for our 3rd Annual Lake Retreat. It will be at Camp Vesper Point (Chattanooga, Tennessee) SEPTEMBER 20-22 Friday at 7:00pm to Sunday at 3:00pm. Escape a weekend to a BEAUTIFUL retreat center! We will sleep in cabins, have some time to rest, and enjoy the beauty of nature. But we will also have plenty of lake activities (like ski boats, water skiing, swimming, kayaks, waterslides, etc.), as well as other group activities such as a “hoedown”, bonfire, night adventure games, plus an indoor climbing wall, soccer, basketball, ultimate frisbee, ping pong and more! And there will be optional times for morning worship with singing, teaching, and prayer. ALL GT INTERNATIONALS ARE WELCOME! (Unfortunately, this event is not designed for kids.) We will join international students from 2 other universities (Tennessee-Knoxville & Tennessee- Chattanooga) COST: $95 includes 2 nights lodging + 5 meals + transportation+ all activities YOU MUST REGISTER AT INTERNATIONAL BUZZ ON TUESDAY NIGHTS.

Cultural Events

Each semester International Buzz hosts several events which celebrate your home culture. Past events include: Taste of India, Mid-Autumn Festival, and Lunar New Year. In addition, we also celebrate many popular American holidays including: Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, & Christmas!
